C3 is offering another beginner Lego Robotics course for ages 10 to 14. The 2 day workshop is Saturday, April 15th - 9am to 2:30pm (includes lunch from Chick Fil A) and Sunday, April 16th - 12 to 2:30pm. Over the course of two days your child will work in a team setting to build and program a small robot to perform various tasks.
The course is designed to help young kids develop essential team building skills as well as promote their interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering & math) related activities.

About our Instructor: Samantha Westfall has been teaching Lego Robotics at various elementary and middle schools in the greater Charlotte area for just over three years. Many of these schools participate in county Lego sponsored competitions where they are judged on both programming proficiency and teamwork. Of those she has instructed, several have advanced to the state level Lego competition held at NC A&T University where they placed among the top in the state.
Samantha is driven by her passion for teaching and her love and dedication to STEM education.
